We finish a renovation the way we finish a new house
We use the same crew for a renovation as for a house we build from the ground up, and we give both the same care. Before we start, we cover the areas we’re leaving alone. In a finished house, that can mean plastic over the light fixtures and artwork. We keep at the finish work until the new part sits right against the old.
We put together a detailed budget before we start and walk you through it. We tell you where costs could move and where we can take money out while keeping the design intact. We make our invoices match that budget, so you can check any bill against the number you agreed to. If you live somewhere else most of the year, we call you as often as we call the owners down the road.

We build the budget and show you where cost can come out without hurting the design. You get both before you commit to anything.
Protect & build
We cover the house before any work starts, down to the light fixtures and the artwork. Riley oversees the crews, and you work with him directly.
Punch & reconcile
We make sure everything is perfect, and the final invoice is detailed enough that you can set it beside the budget you approved and check it line by line.

Heber Valley Builders is a licensed residential general contractor based in Heber City, Utah, owned and run by Riley King.
We work across Wasatch and Summit counties, from the valley floor up into the canyons and out to the gated communities around Park City. Getting a crew in and out of those takes its own planning. Almost every job we take comes to us by referral.
